The BIS group maintains very active links with industry and the programme benefits from the guidance of an Industry Advisory Board whose members consist of senior managers from leading indigenous and multi-national companies. This ensures that the skill, knowledge and methodologies you learn are consistent with current industry requirements. During your studies of BIS at the J. E. Cairnes School of Business & Economics you will become part of the BIS family. BIS classes are
small and over the years of your degree you will have the opportunity
to develop a relationship with the BIS group that is quite personal and
unique. By graduation, you will feel a close affinity to the BIS Group
and hopefully you will maintain contact with us after graduation. Read
what our
current students say about BIS at NUI Galway.
Our graduates continue to secure degree related employment and for
those of you who at graduation are not yet ready to join the workforce,
we offer an extensive range of post-graduate opportunities.
