BIS student in Final of Meteor Apprentice
Congratulations to Senan Cronin from 4th year BIS who has reached the final 6 out of over 1500 applicants in the Meteor apprentice competition.
The finalist are competing for an intern position in Meteor's marketing department next summer.
Also in the picture is Emma Curtis a final year B. Comm student who has also made it to the final 6. They are showing Head of School Dr. Emer Mulligan their Facebook pages which was the first task set to the final seven candidates.

New Collaborative Learning Facility
The programme board are pleased to announce the introduction of a new collaborative learning facility for September 2009. Funded by the Higher Education Authority this facility is equipped with the most modern collaborative orientated technology coupled with a changeable room configuration.
The CLF has eight group work area six of which have individual interactive white boards and 40 Apple MacBookPros.

Study Abroad in Clarkson University
The programme board are pleased to announce that a study abroad exchange programme has been established with Clarkson University in Potsdam NY USA. Starting in September 2009, 2nd year students on the BSc in Business Information Systems will be eligible to apply to attend Clarkson for the Spring semester of 2010.

First Year Visit to Microsoft
The annual first year field trip to Microsoft Ireland took place on the 19th and 20th of March 2009.
